On April 10, 2024, Attorney Lawrence Wang of the ACIES Team was invited to attend the Licensing Ceremony for Shenzhen Bao'an District Trade Secret Protection Base and the accompanying "Experts Enter Industrial Parks" Trade Secret Protection Event, where he was officially appointed as an expert for the Shenzhen Bao'an Trade Secret Protection Base.
During his keynote speech titled "Building Trade Secret Protection Systems and Dispute Resolution for Enterprises", Attorney Wang combined humorous anecdotes with real case studies from his team’s practice to emphasize that effective trade secret protection begins with institutional framework construction—proposing systematic measures to eliminate leakage risks at their source. He advised enterprises to establish robust legal and operational safeguards, drawing on examples of successful dispute resolutions to illustrate proactive protection strategies. Following the presentation, attendees—including entrepreneurs and trade secret practitioners—actively engaged in discussions with Attorney Wang on practical measures for implementing protection policies, such as confidentiality agreements, access controls, and internal compliance training.
