In March 2026, ACIES team lawyers Zhong Cuili and Lai Yong secured a first-instance victory in a private lending dispute case on behalf of Ms. Xie against a Shenzhen-based supply chain company. The court upheld all of the client's claims, and the defendant did not appeal, rendering the judgment final.
The case involved a loan between Ms. Xie and the legal representative of the defendant company, who were relatives. After the loan matured, the defendant initially promised to repay but later evaded the obligation due to family disputes, eventually denying the existence of the loan altogether.
Facing the defendant's complete denial of the loan agreement, the ACIES team methodically organized and presented key evidence, including the signing date of the promissory note, bank transfer records, and WeChat chat logs. This clearly established the parties' mutual intent and the validity of the lending relationship, ultimately convincing the court.
The first-instance judgment ordered the defendant to repay the principal, accrued interest, and cover legal fees, totaling approximately RMB 550,000. Following the favorable outcome, Ms. Xie expressed high appreciation for ACIES's professionalism and dedication.
